Indian Bridal Fashion Week 2013 - Rohit Bal

Rohit Bal made his debut at IBWF 2013 with his Indian-Elizabethan inspired wedding dresses. His collection named 'The Mulmul Masquerade' included mainly handmade fabrics which were popular in the Mughal era in India like muslin and velvet. Elaborate gold Kashmiri embroidery marked his creations that dazzled many of the outfits which included Indian traditional Lehengas, Sarees and gowns. Sonam Kapoor was the showstopper for the show. She flaunted a white Muslin Lehenga embedded with golden embroidery - a look that seemed to have been inspired by a bride of the Mughal era. The main attraction of the show was the old Bollywood melodies played in the background which set the mood of the audiences during the event.

Take a look at the highlights of the show -
